THE CLUBHOUSE MOVEMENT SESSIONS

The Clubhouse Sessions use an athletic & unique movement training philosophy teamed with intuitive coaching and education that is suitable for every BODY. We have created an innovative methodology based on the core principles of the most effective fitness approaches from around the world, think HIIT, core, kettle-bell, boxing, athletic training along with the best aspects of traditional strength & conditioning combined to utilise more muscle groups, moving on different planes & levels. An approach that provides constant variation & is more efficient & effective than any other workout you have experienced!

More than fitness classes, they’re experiences. Created and developed by Aian Mclennan, a former professional athlete & taught by the industries best who inform & inspire.

A big focus on little things, a specifically designed studio to provide an inspirational platform for our small group training, strictly capping classes at 12 people per session. Ensuring everyBODY is MOVING the way they should be & our clients are not just another number in a commercial setting.

The unique Clubhouse Conditioning session offers a combination of athletic training & an innovative human movement philosophy created by former athlete and founder Aian Mclennan. The session is designed to utilise as many muscle groups as possible in an efficient and highly effective approach that's progressively challenging yet adaptable to every individual no matter the fitness level or experience.

CLUBHOUSE STRENGTH


Improve the physiology of your body through a functional and creative style of training that will give you a leaner, stronger and overall better you. A unique approach that focuses on your results through stretching, mobility & weight resistance training. This class is perfect for those who seek weight loss, strength, mobility and longevity.

CLUBHOUSE TRX CORE


The Clubhouse TRX Core is a session designed with a specific focus on building abdominal strength working against gravity with your body weight. This 30 minute class will challenge people of all abilities with a fast paced circuit that combines TRX suspension training and various floor based exercises. Timed sets will keep your heart rate pumping as you power through the circuits at your own pace. 

BOX & BURn


We burn hard and HIIT hard. The original Clubhouse approach incorporating partnered pad work & a genuine focus on core strength & stability. 

A cardio conditioning session that will challenge you using all the boxing fundamentals without the pre-requisite of being a world champion. Integrating classic combos with kettle bells is a guaranteed calorie killer. 


CLUBHOUSE beach bootcamp

With Leighton Beach literally on our doorstep, come sweat and smile in the sun with our 45 minute Clubhouse Beach Bootcamp. A full body workout that ensures you utilise every muscle head to toe to guarantee a high calorie burn! With a mixture of short cardio efforts teamed with unique body weight movements you will leave the class feeling refreshed from the amazing surroundings but also knowing you have work hard to tone and strengthen your entire body whilst engaging your core through the soft sand efforts ;)

You don't have to be a pro to train like one, so find your inner athlete & experience the Clubhouse Athletic. Test your power, strength, agility and co-ordination whilst maximising all muscle groups on a number of planes (just like the pros) With Clubhouse coaches Aian & Christian previously AFL rookie and American College basket baller, their goal is to bring high grade sports conditioning to the mainstream with this high intensity 45 minute session. Smile, sweat, suffer and succeed just like all great teams & athletes do!

A certified personal trainer and strength & conditioning coach for the past 12 years, Aian offers a unique approach in the delivery of the Clubhouse program, but the daily message is always consistent in order to maintain the integrity and the quality of the Clubhouse experience. After being involved in the AFL system for ten years starting at the Brisbane Lions and finishing at GWS, Aian’s ability to consistently create fun & engaging sessions is a huge attribute in an industry that can often be
monotonous and repetitive. The QLD born mental health advocate developed private training clientele from various demographics (athletes, models, actors, business professionals, etc). His movement training philosophy, innovative workouts, and positive energy have transformed his clients’ bodies as well their lives.

Aian felt the public was ready and yearning to take their fitness journey to the next level. His decision to open The Clubhouse stemmed from a desire to fill a void in the industry – personalised, lifestyle focused, no egos, no bulls….. training.

Christian is what you would call a ‘lifer’ in the fitness industry. He started his own personal training business at the age of 19 and has since dedicated his life as a coach helping people achieve their goals internationally for over 12 years!

Following his love for human performance, he earned his Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science whilst playing college basketball at the University of Mobile – Alabama, USA. Christian gained valuable experience training athletes from all sporting backgrounds and continued to develop his knowledge earning a Master’s degree in Kinesiology at California State University Fullerton, USA. He became the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach of the Men’s basketball team, who compete in the prestigious NCAA Division 1. 

Christian has worked with high level USA College and professional athletes during his time abroad and has continued to work with all walks of life in a variety of fitness settings. 1 on 1 personal training, group boot camps, nutrition counselling, or youth fitness programs are a part of his repertoire, but he specialises in sports performance, body transformations and injury rehabilitation. Christian wants people to actually enjoy fitness and we are excited he is bringing his expertise back to Perth! We are very lucky to have such an experienced and decorated fitness professional at The Clubhouse Movement Studio.

The Clubhouse Sessions Unlimited is a non-contract re-occurring payment that allows you access to as many Clubhouse Sessions a week with a 14-day booking window. Clients may freeze their direct debit free of charge but The Clubhouse needs a minimum 10 days notice for it to be processed. 

Breakdown if you:

Attend 3 x week = $23
Attend 4 x week = $17.50

What is Infrared Sauna

A traditional sauna uses convection and conduction to heat the surface of your skin. Infrared saunas, however, use infrared heating panels that emit light helping your body to detoxify, giving users a deeper cleansing experience. The infrared light can't be seen by the naked eye but it gives off what's called radiated heat, penetrating deep within your tissues, muscles and cells.   

Unlike traditional saunas, the air in an infrared sauna is a lot drier making it easier to breathe. This form of slow heating makes infrared saunas a much more comfortable experience than a traditional one.

POP IN. Arrive 10 minutes prior to your first infrared sauna session. You'll be welcomed and shown around the studio by our friendly staff who will get your ready for your session. Feel free to bring your own towels, however we provide fresh towels and refreshing cold lemon squeezed water as you want to keep as hydrated as possible.

HELLO THE NEW YOU. After your session you can shower if you like, change, replenish and feel free to come use our space to stretch and roll out. You can hang out with our staff or fellow Clubhouse Crew, or simply crack on with your next daily challenge.

Our solo sweat session gives you 45min to perspire in a pristine, spotless, private room. Infrared heat kills 99% of bacteria, creating an inherently sterile environment. Relax your mind and rejuvenate your body in confidence.

Traditional Sauna vs. Infrared Sauna

Infrared saunas penetrate deep within your body at a cellular level, while traditional saunas only heat the air around you. 

Infrared saunas use dry heat, whereas traditional saunas use humid heat resulting in poor air quality, which can be unbearable at times. Traditional saunas dehydrate you more than an infrared sauna and remove more water but less toxins.

Traditional saunas only remove about 3% of toxins in your body, whereas an infrared sauna can remove up to 20% of toxins from your body.

Healing With Colour

Light therapy uses colours for their proposed healing abilities in treating emotional and physical disturbances. Light therapy is based on the premise that different colours evoke different responses in people. For example, some colours are considered to be stimulating, whereas others may be soothing. Colour therapy has been suggested for many uses, based on tradition or on scientific theories. Consult with a health care provider before using colour therapy for any use.

Red

Red is called “The Great Energiser.” It loosens, releases stiffness and constrictions. It is excellent for areas that have become stiffened. Red is the first visible colour we see after the infrared band is passed. It promotes cellular growth, stimulating the “will” aspect, or the circulatory system. It is therefore indicated for all colds, sluggish or dormant conditions, such as pneumonia, arthritis, anemia, as a liver stimulant, an energy builder, and for increasing circulation. Red links with and stimulates the base of the spine, causing the adrenal glands to release adrenalin. This results in greater strength. Red causes haemoglobin to multiply, thus increasing energy raising body temperature conditions as it stimulates sensory nerves such as hearing, taste, smell, and activates metabolism. It is excellent for anemia or blood-related conditions.

Yellow

Yellow helps awaken mental inspiration arousing higher mentality. Thus, it is an excellent color for nervous or nerve-related conditions or ailments; fueling the solar plexus. Yellow has a very enriching effect upon the intellect. Yellow can be used for conditions of the stomach, liver, and intestines. It can help the pores of the skin by repairing scarred tissue. These rays have an alkalizing effect which strengthens the nerves. Awakening, inspiring and vitally stimulating the higher mind promoting self-control. Typical diseases treated by yellow are constipation, gas, liver troubles, diabetes, eczema and nervous exhaustion. Providing clarity of thought, increasing awareness, stimulating interest and curiosity yellow energy is related to the ability to perceive or understand. The yellow energy connects us to our mental self.

Green

Green is the universal healing color. Green is midway in the color spectrum; therefore, it contains both a physical nature and a spiritual nature, in equal balance and in equal harmony. Thus, green can be used for just about any condition in need of healing. When in doubt, green will always work. Help relax muscles, nerves, and thoughts. The color green cleanses and balances our energy, to give a feeling of renewal, peace and harmony. Used primarily for balancing our whole being It is neither relaxing nor astringent in its impact. In a more practical sense, green affects blood pressure and all conditions of the heart. Having both an energizing effect, moderating, or soothing effect. Green can help heal many illnesses of this nature, specifically including heart troubles, decreasing and stabilizing blood pressure, ulcers, cancer, headaches, nervous disorders and influenza, and acts as a general tonic.

Blue

Blue on the other hand, is at the opposite end of the visible spectrum. Blue can be used for any type of ailments associated with speech, communication, or the throat. This is a mentally relaxing color. Blue has a pacifying effect on the nervous system encouraging great relaxation. It is ideal for sleep problems. Blue light connects us to holistic thought, and gives us wisdom and clarity enhancing communication and speech. Relaxing, soothing blue rays bring great calm and peace to the mind that is worried, excited, or in a constant nervous state. It is a very positive color, indicating loyalty and reliability, as expressed in the sentiment of being “true blue.”

Orange

Orange has a freeing action upon the mind, relieving repression. Because orange is a blend of red and yellow, it combines physical energy with mental wisdom, inducing a transformation between lower physical reaction and higher mental response. Thus, it is often referred to as “The Wisdom Ray.” Orange is warm, cheering, and non-constricting. Through orange, we are able to heal the physical body (red) and, at the same time, induce within the mind (yellow) greater understanding. Orange helps assimilate new ideas. Orange is the best emotional stimulant, helping to remove inhibitions paving independent social behavior. Bring joy to your workday and strengthen your appetite for life. Orange aids in repairing inflammation of the kidneys, gallstones, menstrual cramps, epilepsy, wet cough and all sinus conditions.

Violet

Violet is the last color we can see before light passes on to ultra-violet. This color is an excellent remedy for neurosis, diseases of the scalp, sciatica, tumors, rheumatism, cerebralspinal meningitis, concussion, cramps and epilepsy. Violet animates and cleans the venous blood. It is generally not used for physical conditions; however, some color experts believe that it does provide nourishment to the cells in the upper brain. Violet purifies our thoughts and feelings giving us inspiration in all undertakings. The violet energy connects us to our spiritual
self bringing guidance, wisdom and inner strength, and enhances artistic talent and creativity. Leonardo da Vinci proclaimed that you can increase the power of meditation ten fold by meditating under the gentle rays of violet, as found in church windows.
